Course for beginners:
The beginners course starts with an introduction to the basic knowledge of playing the saxophone. In addition to fingering and control of the sound , the introduction to rhythm and harmony is one of the most important topics of the course.
Saxophone course for advanced players:
The main topic of this course is the further development of sound and technique. In addition, acquired knowledge is consolidated and improved with appropriate exercises.
Course for experts:
This saxophone course deals with the mastery of technique and musicality. Introduction to intonation , as well as special lessons on playing style are internalized in this course. Therefore it is ideally suited for advanced saxophonists.
Sonja Oberkofler
Sonja Oberkofler is a saxophonist with a passion for classical and new music and interdisciplinary projects.
Due to her professional attitude and zest for action, she has already worked with well-known composers, including Anthony Fiumara, Aart Strootmans, as well as Aura Bouw and many more. She also shared the stage with greats such as the all-star ensemble Bang on a Can, Asko Schönberg and TEMKO. Together with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta and Fontys Saxophone Ensemble, she even played for the Dutch royal family. Her passion for chamber music and interdisciplinary performances led her to global concert stages and various festival appearances.
Sonja is a Newzik ambassador and winner of the Junior Grachtenfestival Pitch 2017.
